Question: Is a formal deadline for a Sustainable Development Management Plan (SDMP) in place?
Answer:
Many NHS Organisations already have a Sustainable Development Management Plan (SDMP). The NHS Carbon Reduction Strategy asked NHS organisations to have an SDMP in place by April 2010. This is being monitored on a 6 monthly basis by each SHA and we have produced a
map showing how many organisations per region are taking part.
